They pull out of the parking lot about 6pm or so and travel on I-80 east to I-280 thru the Holland Tunnel. It's police escorted and the police block alot of entrance/exit ramps on the highway. The procession is about 7-8 miles long. I've done the ride a half dozen times, people pull over and wave and yell, fire departments park their engines on the overpasses, it's fun, but definately a nightmare for traffic. |
