I'm surrounded by the insane on daily basis sitting in traffic.

^ i hear that, especially Missouri just passed a law making it illeagal for anyone under 21 to text while driving, my question is, why not for everybody. i think it's bull**** seeing these people out doing what they do when they drive, just thursday i was out with one of my guys driving down 270 and i look over and he is driving with his knees and texting at the same time, i about lost it, this is not the first time he has done it

Trips 09-19-2009 09:49 PM

That problem with texting is everywhere unfortunately.

No s**t, that's crazy, like someone over 21 can text and drive safely?

StLRedrider 09-19-2009 09:51 PM

dude it's nuts, this guy with me was driving one of my trucks pulling my trailer with about 20 grand of lawncare equipment on it

Trips 09-19-2009 09:53 PM

Some people will learn there lesson about texting and driving the hard way.

StLRedrider 09-19-2009 09:55 PM

yeah, it better not be behind the wheel of my vehicle

Trips 09-19-2009 10:03 PM

No, I'm with you. I think doctors today are way too prescription happy.

:iagree:

But....... if two Docs two years apart concerns you, when you have time get a third opinion from a specialist, not a GP (my recommendation FWIW) :tiphat:

I don't think I'm bothered by it enough to go any further (or take medication). Like I said, I feel fine. I guess I was just venting because the assertions these people were making just seemed so out of place.

frost 09-20-2009 12:21 AM

I'm thinking of this f.i. exhaust.

Trips 09-20-2009 12:23 AM

I'm thinking that also I'm now just trying to save the funds for it

hey blue

blue660r01 09-20-2009 12:24 AM

hai

frost 09-20-2009 12:25 AM

I have been having a lot of heartburn regarding these bolt-ons. I know I've said this before, but they are so expensive compared to buying parts for american cars. The money just to buy an exhaust would have outfitted my trans am entirely :icon17:

That being said, I want to make sure I have done my research on a mod before I buy it.

Trips 09-20-2009 12:26 AM

I hear you

Yeah? You thinking of their payment plan at all?

Trips 09-20-2009 12:33 AM

I''m doing cash I'm trying to set aside a little at a time so it's a less financial hit. My own layaway in a sense.

What do you think about the Invidia Q300 exhaust? They are working on a new version that removes the rasp and keeps the 18 HP gain. It is about $1000, $500 less than most of the competing stuff and appears to be similar in quality.

frost 09-20-2009 12:34 AM

Part of the responsible 10%, that's what I like to hear

That's why I have done little in the 6 months since I bought the 370, want to pay cash as well.

Trips 09-20-2009 12:38 AM

I figured if I changed my mind and go with someone else I'd loose the down pymt and I'm not gonna give my money away that easy.

Very true. Can't downgrade either.
Payment plan is for people who have issues with saving.

frost 09-20-2009 12:42 AM

I've been waiting to hear numbers on that invidia exhaust. It's pretty cheap from what I remember.

Yea, $500 cheaper than most everything else, sounds very nice, and similar quality with an 18 HP dyno increase.

My mods are going from the least to the more expensive exhaust being last. My first mod was the berk hfc and that's enough of a difference that I'm not in a hurry for the exhaust.

18 hp claimed from the manufacturer right? No one has actually dynoed that yet, right?

Original dynoed with 18HP increase. The new version with a slight mod to the X pipe and adding resonators hasn't been dynoed yet, to my knowledge. Lou at amplified is working with them and claims version 2 will keep the 18HP and lose the rasp........ waiting to see new dyno numbers as well.

Trips 09-20-2009 01:01 AM

Im still on the fence with that setup. The video that demo the exhaust didn't move me
