Tin what do you find disappointing about this? Just curious as I find it relatively easy to deal with all these. Given I also have had a Mac for years and the iPhone since its release.

Home from the gym. When I was finished working out, I looked at my heart monitor and I burned 666 calories.

Well I'm a lifelong PC user and have been on the webz for about 14 years so I'm reasonably savvy. I got pissed off the other because I downloaded a bunch of apps directly to my phone, then when I connected to itunes it disabled all of them! I had to delete them all from the phone and reinstall through itunes, time consuming and frustrating.

Pushing_Tin 09-08-2009 08:57 PM

Then I downloaded some podcasts that I wanted to transfer to the phone, but no matter what I did they would not transfer. I had to do a bunch of searches to figure out that I had to "authorize" the computer. WTF? Why didn't itunes simply tell me that instead of making go on a wild internet goose chase.

Pushing_Tin 09-08-2009 08:58 PM

hey frost!

Oh yeah, is it like any other show? Is the acting good, or is really just violence? Other?

I saw those. I stressed out when I saw all these picture comments because I keep getting people going "that's the wrong movie for the picture." :shakes head:

I hate itunes. Actually, I find all mac software more difficult to use than its windows counterpart. Not sure how I ended up with a mac. I'm not cool enough to be a mac user I guess. LD

Togo 09-08-2009 09:01 PM

I thought the same thing about Dexter. I wanted to watch SOA, but I missed the first episode and refused to start on the 2nd.

Funny, since they are called incursions on the ground, I would have thought you would use similar lingo.

I watch a lot of them online because I usually go to sleep early. As it is, I should be going to bed now, have to be awake at 5 AM and a really long day tomorrow.

frost 09-08-2009 09:06 PM

i don't get much, but work on the house/property, hang out with the wife, go to the beach (only 45 mins from us) ski in the winter, shoot guns on occasion.

frost 09-08-2009 09:11 PM

btw, "the colony" on discovery channel is one of the most interesting shows I've seen in a long time.

Togo 09-08-2009 09:12 PM

Are you far enough off the beaten path to where you can shoot at your place?

Pushing_Tin 09-08-2009 09:13 PM

Yes and no, we have 5 acres and so does our closest neighbor. I could shoot but I usually go to the range.

Togo 09-08-2009 09:14 PM

They took 10 people, and put them in an (huge) abandoned part of LA to simulate post global catastrophe. They only gave them an abandoned warehouse and tools, they had to fend for themselves. Meanwhile they get attacked for supplies, kidnapped, etc. It's an awesome experiment into human psyche because they have gotten to the point where this is treated real. It's like they truely believe this is all happening to them.
