I love Anchorage! I'd move back there but my wife can't handle the winters, which really aren't that bad. I think it's an ideal city, large enough to do anything you want, but rural enough to do any outdoor activity and be away from people if you want. Did you go down to Alyeska? |
frost you been MIA too long
|
No. We did drive the AK1 for a while, but only for about 20 miles. I think Alyeska was another 20. It was in the high 70s/low 80s here and they were calling it a heat wave. When I left phoenix it was 114, rofl.

Yeah, it's gonna be rough. Sleep is all whacked out with the sun not going down till midnight and coming up at like, 4am.

Yeah, but it's been great. Has not rained at all while I've been here. From what I hear, that's crazy.

Complete Custom Wheel - Wheel Profiles
I think I've found my next wheels. 18x10 (265-35) & 18x11(285/295-35)? Maybe 40 series tires. |
I like those a lot. Would you put those on your 350 or 370 if you end up getting it?
|
I'm considering those for the 350Z. I'll have that car for a few months more at the very least (& probably longer-- I really like not owing money).
|
Always a good call. Do you want to go 18's because of tracking purposes or just like the look of them?
|
Both, really. I like the functionality of 18s & from that logic, I've come to like the size because I know it's more of a "go" thing vs a show piece.
Don't get me wrong, I like & appreciate cars with nice 19" wheels, but I'm a fat tire loving function > form fan. |
Completely understandable. I like the looks of the 19 to 20's even for the 370 for the street, but would want 18's that would clear the breaks or a lightweight 19 for the track. This is all when I actually get the 370 and given I have the money for 2 sets of wheels lol. If not compromise at a 19.
