What's an ls2 going for these days, $5-7k?

blue660r01 07-25-2009 11:04 PM

Depends on the miles. I found some for like 3k. You will need new mounts and all. To have a shop do all the work...motor, tranny, mounting, install it will prob be around 10-12k total.

Better start putting it in the pot!

I know people :)

But its too much work ATM to worry about.

Wouldnt mind one of those, but when you CAN find one, its crazy money for an old car.

Found one with an upgraded turbo with alcohol injection for $8,500 with a rebuilt motor @100k.

I shoulda included the mileage stipulation in my money comment

blue660r01 07-25-2009 11:18 PM

We had a CLEAN one here with like 20k miles on it for $20,000. Thats $20,000 WELL spent lol.

frost 07-25-2009 11:21 PM

Thats actually a pretty good price from what I have seen. Low miles usually goes for in the 30s when I have found one.
