Yes, my daughters are life guards. I asked them how they pick out someone who is really drowning in a pool full of screaming, splashing folks. Both said it's the ones that are quiet and not splashing that draw their attention. They pull 'em out surrounded by their friends and right next to a parent. My oldest says you can see it their eyes....
