I nominate Michael Moore. Or Ke$ha.

Am I the only one wondering wtf took so long? Billions of dollars later we found 1 guy? I mean yeah victory for us but at what cost.

Here's a kicker.... This mutha fka was in the middle of a fkn desert and they found him. Saddam was in a hole in the desert and we found him. But Tupac and Biggy get killed in public streets during rush hour, and nobody knows **** about that?!

Oh.. And wtf did they bury him at sea? A guy like that deserves to be hung in the city.

Well they flew his body back out to the ship for ID'ing and according to Islamic tradition the body has to be buried within 24 hours, so we dumped him seaside.

Yes, because heaven forbid we don't respect Islamic tradition. I hope they force fed that f*cker pork chops before they killed him.

Edit: No better yet -- pork tartar.

First Canada has forces in Afghanistan too. Second only an immature idiot would blame the victim of a crime by basically saying "they deserved it". That is a bunch of BS and there was no justifiable reason for Osama to bomb our embassies, the USS Cole, and fly planes into the World Trade Center. These acts had nothing to do with broken promises and more to do with inventing an enemy of their religion to rally supporters to fight for his cause. And his cause to force the middle east to become one country. And force the rest of the world to adopt his views of Islam.

From Wiki

"A 2004 BBC article entitled "Al-Qaeda's origins and links", the BBC wrote:

During the anti-Soviet jihad Bin Laden and his fighters received American and Saudi funding. Analysts believe Bin Laden himself had security training from the CIA.[3]

In a 2006 InDepth piece on Osama Bin Laden, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation published that,[4]

Bin Laden apparently received training from the CIA, which was backing the Afghan holy warriors – the mujahedeen – who were tying down Soviet forces in Afghanistan.

An article in Der Spiegel, in 2007, entitled "Arming the Middle East", Siegesmund von Ilsemann called Bin Laden "one of the CIA's best weapons customers." [5]

For those of you who don't know the history of the situation, Osama was CIA trained to fight against Russia in Afghanistan in order to stop the spread of Communism. The CIA supplied weapons, training and promised financial aid, money for schools, food and rebuilding efforts if and when the CIA trained local cells defeated Russia.

As soon as Russia was beaten back the CIA reneged on all of their promises of aid, rebuilding efforts, and financial support, and left a bunch of angry militants armed and trained by the CIA. Not a big shock that America paid the price eventually.

Its just a damn shame those who actually paid the price where civilians who were totally innocent, instead of those in the CIA who manipulated the Afghani people to fight the war against communism for America.

I don't doubt for a second the orders regarding Osama were kill on sight, because he could have made a LOT of people very uncomfortable had he opened his mouth regarding his history and American involvement in his training.
yes. Just like saddam. The americans killed him after a very fast sham trial in a kangaroo court fo precisely the same reason to prevent him from airing america's dirty laundry. Also funny how the americans quickly tossed bin ladens body into the middle of the sea. Hmmmmm. Looks like someone has something to hide!

I also find it highly curious that they knew his location since last august but only killed him now. Dont they have presidential elections next year? And werent obama's popularity numbers plummeting recently?

Please don't EVER insinuate that I feel American civilians deserved 911, that is totally untrue and a horrible act of terrorism. Those people had nothing whatsoever to do with the CIA screwing over Afghanistan and arming and training them, its tragic that they paid with their lives.

Now if those planes had been flown into the pentagon and only members of the CIA involved in Afghanistan affairs had died, I would honestly say 'They probably had that coming'

As for Canada, I think our country is a bunch of fools and sheep for involving ourselves militarily in any cause in the Middle East. I am a huge military supporter, and have nothing but respect for the troops and their dedication, but that doesn't mean I have to support the politicians who send our troops to Countries that they have no right being in.

You can thank our idiot cowardly governments for keeping us in afghanistan. Hopefully the rise of the ndp in the polls and the death of bin laden will pressure harper into terminating the mission. Secondly american position regarding the suffering of civilians in iraq, afghanistan, palestine, vietnam, korea, japan, cuba and other countries due to america's policies has always been to blame the victim

With your weak dollar these days, you'll only be further weakening your already hurting economy by cutting off the hundred of millions you get from cross-border shopping Canadians.

Between my girlfriend and myself we spend close to 50k in the U.S. yearly including 30k in property tax for a second home, which is probably more than most 'Americans'

But by all means, because a couple of my comments make you uncomfortable, build a wall across your entire country.

If it wasn't for the US Canada wouldn't last as long as it has. With their Government taxing the crap out of the working people to provide social programs like universal healthcare. Just imagine what your next tax bill would look like if you had to raise a real military and not that national guard Canada passes off as a military. No wonder Quebec doesn't want to be part of Canada.
