that was only the 14 kV demonstration. They lazed it for about 3-5 secs and boom one motor down then the motor caught on fire then the other one did. The navy has a 100 kV laser system on battleships and carriers and can burn through 20ft of Steel a Second!!!! not a typo 20ft/sec!!!!

Wow! That, I want to see. Can you imagine this being pointed at someone's head...ouch! Sucks to be the 1st person in history to get lasered, Halo style.... come on Bin Laden, come out were we can see you.
