then I glossed it with the epoxy.

an oil spill is SO EASY to clean up now. not one stain in my entire garage. mopping up is really easy too! and it was a cheap project...bout 150 bucks.
How hard is it to do it yourself?

This is correct. If you do not prep properly, or miss a small area it will soon lift and flake up. I used armorpoxy over new but cured concrete and it has still lifted and flaked in a few areas that require repair. I'm still glad I did it though. If you want pics I can take some.
