So, I walked in my house today, and my dog came up to me slowly, which is a little weird because he's normally pretty excited.
For those who have never seen him, here he is:

So I thought something may be wrong since he was moving so slow. As he got closer, the problem was evident. His eye was hanging out of his head.

Edit, The next day:

Edit, 10 days after incident:

I have no idea what happened. He couldn't see out of it, that was obvious. Not that it mattered since it was point at the floor. I took him to the pet ER, and they told me the eye wouldn't be salvageable wait until tomorrow and take him a vet to have the eye removed. Then he charged me $175 to put one of those cones on his head and some lube on the eye since it was dried out. So now I have a dog walking around with his eye hanging out until tomorrow.

One of my best friends had something similar with her Japanese Chin. While they were out, one of their cats had knocked over a small statue, which hit the dog in the head, fracturing its skull and popping an eyeball out. Its fracture healed, it has one eye, but it is every bit a happy and healthy dog. So, I hope things go well for your dog, man.

Thanks man. I'm having the hardest time looking at it. I'm pretty weird about the eyes. I get nervous when stuff is close to my eye, I can't put in contacts because I wig out, I wear safety glasses when I cook bacon in case the grease pops ... so you can imagine the difficulty I'm having with this.

I can relate a little bit. My dog is epileptic. He'd been having seizures on and off. Then one night he had a cluster of about 7 in a row without snapping out of it. Of all of the possible causes, I was actually relieved to hear it was something as treatable as epilepsy. But until the diagnosis, my mind was racing.

Thanks for the support gents.

And yeah, I've already been thinking about eye patches. More so because I can't look at whatever is gonna be left after the surgery. Maybe they have little skull and crossbones one.

wow man, I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope everything goes well for your dog tomorrow. So, how did this happen? It just happen? Did the dog hit something with the eyes? Anytime any animal in pain, I get very upset. Since they can't express how they feel and do anything about it. This is why I'm probably the most ANTI animal cruelty person you'll ever meet.

Thanks man. I don't think I'll ever know how it happened. I thought it must have been a tussle with my husky, but according to the doctor, he's seen (in certain breeds) where a dog can just hit a wall and pop one out. Good learning experience for the dog you buy.
