Right now, my stepdad and I are drinking an 18 year old Glenlivet mixed with a little Drambuie.

That's my idea of the finer things in life. :) I can't wait to grill the steaks tonight!

Sounds quite Fine to me. Are the steaks Choice or Prime?

Glenlivet with Drambuie? oh, that i've gotta try.

The steaks are 12 oz prime cut boneless ribeyes. Comes to about ~$35 a steak with shipping.

And correct, it's a "rusty nail". The Drambuie, a spicy-honey whiskey, smooths out any harshness from the scotch. But come on...it's 18 year old scotch...whatever harshness is left should be quite tasty!!! Haha.

These steaks, which are going on the grill in 3 minutes, look amazing. I've had them several times before, but only care to spend the money on special occasions. Even the fat tastes like butter!

I think Lobel's has a Wagyu (sort of like Kobe beef) standing rib roast for like $1400. haha, yes..that's one thousand four hundred bucks. Rofl.

USDA Prime FTMFW

Costco, believe it or not, has world-class steaks. I picked up three USDA Prime ribeyes for $32. They also offer USDA Choice, which would run about $25 for three thick ribeyes.

I gotta go check out your website bbl

interested on an answer about this. i cant seem to justify buying something that costs as much as a nice foreclosed house and then getting to use it 3 weeks a year.

No regrets at all. The cheap ones should be avoided, but quality companies have pretty good selections. The one we have gets us a week in Cabo and a week in Tahoe every year, cost was about $10K and everything is 5-star. It can be sold or added into a will as an inheritance. We can also switch between other resorts around the US and Mexico. I get quarterly reports, since I do own real estate, on the viability of the parent company and they are solvent and well-run.

Rooms in the resort in Cabo start at $350/night and go up to $2000/night  so I think it's well worth it.

The one we have goes by points, not weeks. That is the best way to own a timeshare. You can purchase as many points as you want, room fee would depend on 1,2,3 BR, ocean view, etc...and of course a Thursday, Friday, Saturday night is many more points than a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night. What we do is we fly in on a Sunday so we use points for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night but then pay cash for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at drastically reduced rates, then we use points for stuff like the resort spa, or a one-night stay in NYC or something along those lines.

"The 1926 line was originally created to honor Padron's founder, Jose O. Padron, on his 75th birthday. Only the best Nicaraguan tobacco goes into a Padron 1926. Aged for 5 years, the tobacco holds its full body while allowing elegant flavor profiles to come through. The aged Nicaraguan tobacco keeps some of its spice and peppery flavors but adds subtle hints of cocoa and a touch of coffee."

Sounds delicious, good addition sir :tiphat:

It's actually surprisingly comfortable. It's more aggressive than your average set of 1911 grips for sure, but they don't cut. Have you seen the new Gen4 Glocks with their new grip design? Pick one of those up some time if you get the chance. Now that grip actually cuts my hand! Not cut, technically, but it's so abrasive that it's like sandpaper. I tried one at a gun show recently and it actually took skin off!

It didn't come as pictured. I customized it to my liking. Like the Magpul P-Mags didn't come with. Neither did the Magpul CTR stock. The foregrip is a Surefire. Sights are EOTech. Sling is Larue Tactical 2-point with QD.
