My humidor is packed right now. So much that I had to restart my 20 count desktop humidor for overflow. Got a bunch of new stuff to try then hopefully I'll whittle my selection down to only a handful of the ones I like over the next year or so. Had a Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic 1952 last night. Not bad. But not great either. Unfortunately it came as a free extra in an order so I've got four more. Might give some of them away. |

Honeymoon suite Sarah and I have booked for 2013 after our wedding in Mexico (Riviera). Has rooftop terrace with it's own pool and 24 hour room service. No need to leave the room.

That's nice. And better than getting shot by the cartels. :icon17:

Lmao, ya. We will be over by Cancun, so no where near the cartels.
More Canadian's die each year visiting the US then going to Mexico lol |
That looks good

just snagged a new metal humidor. I hate having to wait to season it.
Already holding steady at 70% though. |

I had a glass of Bluemont Vineyard 2009 Merlot along with a PDR 1878 Capa Oscura this evening. The PDR was good but the Merlot was better.

got a couple fuentes and a 26 resting. any other suggestions for stuff to try? most of my experience has just been smoking whatever other people had.

My Father Le Bijou 1922.
|
oh, those are kickin', forgot about them. just ordered up a couple
|
My friend who turned me on to the 1922 recommended the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial. I have two resting in my humidor right now. Waiting for the right time to give them a shot.
It's a little overwhelming at this point. I've got a lot of stuff in there I haven't tried yet. Fusz keeps telling me to try the Ashton VSG. I've got one there waiting. If you like a mild smoke, I think the Cusano 18 is pretty good. It's probably what I'd give to a newbie. I've decided I prefer the full bodied cigars over anything else. I tend to get a little bored with the milds unless they generate a lot of smoke... then I find them amusing. :icon17: |
cool, thanks. I definitely prefer a more full bodied cigar.

Not exactly the way I would normally shop for clothes, but I'm mildly intrigued (as someone who hates shopping). |

I actually tried to buy some off their website, because sounded delicious ... but I'm not in one of the 13 states they deal with :\
