So can you go prone? I don't see any keys mapped for it and it doesn't look like it's even an option... kind of lame if you ask me.

So the UI is glitchy and there are tons of server problems. I keep getting kicked minutes after joining a game for some problem they have with Punkbuster. Sometimes you can't even get into a game... very frustrating.

My stats keep getting erased and i lose weapons/gadgets that i have unlocked due to server issues. The game is awesome though. Its like MW2 but with team work and vehicles.

Yeah, I just was able to get into a pretty good game. When people work together the battles are intense.

Was just in a big firefight in a snowy village. I was holed up in a barn with some of my team and others were in adjacent buildings. We were trying to advance but forward progress was halted by an enemy fighting vehicle. VERY intense battle. The destructive environment is ridiculous... the entire barn and one of the houses were eventually leveled entirely because of the fighting. And it's cool seeing trees fall because they were hit by some heavy rounds.

Just wish I could f'ing go prone!!!

the spotting is really cool too. i was playing with my friend and he spotted a sniper in the upstairs window of a really far building. he was pinning us down. I peeked out, let out a few bursts with the xm8 and he was done. Saving private ryan style.

I also like how the pistols are actually useful. unlike mw2 where they are like pea shooters.

Yeah... sneaking around with the M24 isn't that bad because you can count on your pistol in relatively close range engagements. I still haven't figured all of the controls and stuff out but I'm getting better and having fun.

BUT I STILL WISH YOU COULD GO PRONE IN THIS DAMN GAME!!!

I agree man, they need to come up with a patch that allows you to go prone, when you're kneeling you still present a HUGE target, i've found that the best thing to do is stand inside one of those little brush thickets, take a shot or two, then move to the next, its worked great so far. BTW, PS3 has ZERO server issues

From what I've read they are never going to add prone.

I wonder what the dev will be like on the PC side... wonder if we'll ever see any new maps or anything. That's one thing that this game could use... larger maps... and larger servers IMO. 32 people is lame.

afaik the server issue has been fixed, the server owners just need to update their boxes

search for a2g servers -- they all work just fine

edit: also I'm up for anyone squadding with me. it's a plus if you have vent though as typically all of us do!

Oh, and I absolutely HATE games that make you level up to use weapons. A game shouldn't rely on leveling up and unlocks to encourage people to play.
