Company that makes BlueBatmobile tint?

I tried tinting the 370Z taillights, but I have to admit these are probably the hardest lights you will ever have to tint. I messed up the right pre-cut tint

Default Company that makes BlueBatmobile tint?

I tried tinting the 370Z taillights, but I have to admit these are probably the hardest lights you will ever have to tint. I messed up the right pre-cut tint because they are not exacity cut right. I now am thinking that if I buy a roll of tint, I will be able to bend the tint around the curves & I'll have extra if I mess up again. But I was wondering if anybody knew the tint company that BlueBat uses & how to buy it. I need a roll of 6/10 or 20% tint, plus any tips on how to tint these pain in the a$$ lights.

i agree that its a PITA because precut gives no extra material to pull on.... so i went to a local shop and used their material....

Isn't the vinyl tint (bluebat) different then the window tint you used?

I went to the site DECALFX.com! Custom Vinyl Graphics, Decals, Stickers, Logos, Lettering, Carbon Fiber Vinyl, Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles and they sell sheets of tint, i'm going to order two 24x24 sheets of smoked taillight tint, I still have my left blue bat taillight tint. Is there a diy of how to tint these nightmare of a tail light?

no dyi i know of. do a full smoke and pull and stretch it on. my tail lights took 3 ppl to do it, 2 holding it and one pulling the overlay on it... theres no bubbles at all and they used a steam thingy.... wow... the material took all that beating...lol

Did you take off your taillight? I might take it to the place that tinted my windows, hopefully they can do it. Other wise I might try it with the taillight still on, I really wish I could just pay someone to do this, cus I ordered from blue bat and wasted $42

yea, i took it off on my own at the shop... we tried on another car 1st and then on mine lol

in the end, taking it out and letting it sit loosely on the car is the best way.

Do you mean just taking the 2 bolts off, then tinting it?

i mean, pull the whole lamp out and let it sit in there loosely, that way they can push against the car and have space to tuck it in the edges so that the material has full coverage and no ugly uneven edges.

Well I'm going to order the smoked roll from decalfx when they get back from sema on Nov. 15. It looks to be the same as Bluebat's, it'd order it from him but he takes forever to do any business.

What's night shade? Is that the spray on tint? If so, I heard it leaves a weird texture after it's done.
