God or someone is playing with me. She just called me and we chatted a little bit. This Friday we are going to go line dancing but she might go early to meet a friend and hang out with her for a bit. The only thing I can think of is to pull her outside and talk to her towards the end of the night sense we might not be driving back home together. The only there thing I can think of is hope that her friend does not show or does not confirm.

Actually might call her back and see if she is home to stop by and pickup some cds I left there.

IMHO, you need to start hanging out with her A LOT more than just friday nights doin line dancing, that is DEF putting you in the friend catergory and FAST. You need to get her to want to spend as much time as possible with ya, not just her buddy for dance night.

I've dated A LOT of girls, but only two girls turned into serious relationships. One in particular was this girl I used to work at a restaurant with. Never really talked to each other, I was kind of the guy all the girls wanted at work. Went out with a bunch of cooworkers one night, started talkin to this girl since we never really had before, but i def had a thing for her. By the end of the night it was hardcore hookup. Usually those kind of girls that do that dont stick around nor do you want them to, But lo and behold, the next day it was like hey, wanna hangout...yea sure. and it turned into we just WANTED to hangout everyday all day. This hardly is every a case, but we def just clicked like that (most other girls i get fed up with seeing a couple times a week) But we dated for 6 months till things just went south. But ill tell you I knew that girl backwards and forwards, and that six months seemed like a year and a half relationship, and i was def ready to marry her.

Point being is, girl your only gunna vaguely talk to, or see once a week, is either a **** buddy, or a "friend". I suggest you skip the line dancing, ask her if she wants to go out for appetizers and drinks at a bar one night. Let the alchohol put down those nervous barriars, and let any feelings that are there on either side come out, and make sum LUUUV happen. trust me, I dont wanna see a guy miss out on the girl of his dreams, but your goin down a road that has a 10% or less chance of turning into a relationship.

Your right and we do hang out more than just Friday nights, we just both have busy schedules. Tonight I will probably ask if she wants to do something tomorrow. Depending on how she takes that I will talk to her about how I feel. All day I have been a bit nervous for the past 2 weeks I have been trying to figure out how I am going to tell her. I think I have it down. Just nervous, guys thanks for your help and wish me luck. Depending on how tired I am when I get home I will post on how things went. Thanks for your help.

Here is another Idea! Find out if she is available like tomorrow night. Then tell her you want to go get dinner or something. Tell her to wear something nice. DO NOT tell her where you are going. Find a nice restaurant thats romantic like, quiet, and upscale but within your budget. also, just be confident and at the end of dinner say...

Hey_______, I have enjoyed spending time with you and honestly, I would like to date you. I think your an amazing person and I believe that we have chemistry and I would like to see where life takes us.

First week snowed in and second she was in Virgina with her family. Good news is she will not be meeting her friend so we are driving there together.

Well just got home. I DID tell her I told her how I felt and that I have been feeling this way for some time. She told me that it took a lot of courage to say what I said and that there is trust between us for being able to say that. Also that she does not feel that kind of love towards me but you never know what the future might bring. She is not upset with me nor scared we will continue to hang out.

So basically I am going to try not to hold my breath but at the same time I am going to pray about it.

Thanks to everyone who helped me gather the courage to say what I said. I feel SO MUCH BETTER but at the same time a little crushed. "has not hit me that much yet" But I will just have to see what happens.
