When hand turning over our motors, does it matter if it gets turned clockwise or counterclockwise? I know on some motors it can affect the timing

The rule of thumb is to turn the motor over the same way it runs. Unless it's locked up.

Left the motel going to the wedding. Topped the top of the hill. Just shifted into 3rd at about 1000rpm. I know I wasn't going 48. GPS showed 40. $140 for the pleasure of talking to the officer. After he got done talking, and asked if I had any questions. I said yeah. Was you expecting some young kid behind the wheel. He said yeah, he wasn't expecting some older person.

Yes, true. But will it hurt anything if its turned a couple rotations by hand counterclockwise?

If something is a left handed thread. It might unscrew it. That's the only thing I can think of.
