Good Sunday morning all. Opened up pool yesterday along with washing the gazebo furniture and a ton of other stuff... my legs and back are feeling it. No issues with opening...just a few worms on bottom that the Polaris picked up and topped it off with 7,000 gallons [ that's (2) 3/4" 150' hose lenght coming off 1" pipe, total of 6 hours...1166 gal per hour/19 gallons a minute  ] and I'm good to go for the 5th season with this one.

@Rusty... Good Luck with your pool! ... having a pool is like having a part time job for me!

Have a great day everyone!

Here's some pre-dawn pix rn....

As long as it didn't break one off and send it through the CAC. It could have been much worse.

You got that right! Pulled piping off front of intercooler and not so much as a spec of dust in it. Whew.

madwi 03-28-2021 12:19 PM

Drained the oil, looked at filter, nothing in there. Should be good to go. Looking at different avenues to take.

Al, aka Solidus, knows more about that kit than most. He got his turbo from Real Street. Not sure which one it is.

madwi 03-28-2021 01:04 PM

Emailed Charles @cj-motorsports about their oil pan and fittings.

Time to up grade.

Rusty 03-28-2021 01:08 PM

Rain hit about 4am last night. It's starting to move out. Should be gone by 5pm. So much for working outside.

Might as well. Lein might be at your place installing a turbo kit. :icon17:

madwi 03-28-2021 01:18 PM

How can I blame this on Jar?

The crack on the windshield ran down to the turbo.

The impact was enough force to push the fins into the housing. I like it.

Will you need a scavenge pump with that set up?

Spooler 03-28-2021 05:24 PM

Just got back from eating all you can eat Crab legs at the Shell House. Stopped by my E85 station, No fuel. Go figure. Had to hump it home quick because a line a thunderstorms were coming and my R888r's on the back have maybe 1mm of thread. LOL, not only that the rubber is starting to roll up in little balls. They are past done. Gonna order new front ones too.

madwi 03-28-2021 05:41 PM

That sounds good.

JLarson 03-28-2021 06:11 PM

Rain has been on and off all day, but I guess the real storm front just rolled through. Momentary flicker of dimming lights, followed a few seconds later with enormous gusts of wind, and sideways rain. Only lasted a couple minutes, pretty weird.

It looked like the rain was moving out with blue skies coming. But NOOOOO. More rain and wind coming. :icon14:

April Fool's Day is canceled this year. Because no prank is greater than the joke that is running this country right now. :icon14:
