Update on my dad. He is at the Cancer treatment center of America in Zion IL now. They did the biopsy yesterday and it's not good. Apparently there are different kinds of pancreatic cancer and he has the worst of the batch. I'm heading up there this afternoon to stay the night and go with him to see a pain management dr and someone else tomorrow. Still waiting for the biopsy results to come back before he gets scheduled with an oncologist to find out what's next.

Prayers for your dad, Bill. You need anything, let us know.

Pancreatic cancer is what my mom died from. She was 88. Found out in Feb 2011, and was gone 30 days later in March. :icon14:

Lately I just seem to say hello and update my tags occasionally :D

When I'm home. I'll keep a tab open on my laptop for the forum, plus a couple of other ones looking for gun powder. It may look like I'm on, but I might be no where near my laptop.

During the day, when I'm at work. If I get a free moment. I'll do a quick read through and maybe post something.

It's not sounding good. We just heard that he sees the oncologist at 7am so we will know what's what then. From what my brother and I are seeing is not long if it's inoperable and up to maybe 5 years if it can be removed.

Getting ready to drive through Chicago rush hour :shakes head: as soon as my clothes are dry

We need to reinvigorate this here FL meetup, seems to have fizzled out a bit

Now that hotrodz has his car back, them track dudes need to pick a track day and location so the rest of us can all meet etc.

Alternatively, we can also just have a fl dayz w/o the track day as well.

Ace cafe in Orlando does a monthly z car only meet that is very popular, 100+ z cars. We could plan our meetup around that sometime too.

Morning guys. Gonna work on the fenders more over the weekend and try to get the rear finished up. Running out of time before the summer cruise.

1/4atatime 04-09-2021 07:41 AM

It's Friday! First week back in the office after working remote for a year. Glad to get out and drive hopefully the crazies stay off the road next week. Some idiot decided it would be funny to brake check me the other day for no reason and I would have ended up under the back of a pickup if I didn't have my foot hovering over the brake pedal after seeing him driving like a mad man behind me. Going to drop my car off tomorrow for it's yearly ceramic coating maintenance. I also was able to pickup a very rare titanium piece for the Z from a member on the form (I've only seen like 3 pictures of it on people's cars not many made). I'll post pictures of what it is when I get it.

Finishing other projects before the pool. Finished trimmed the pear tree yesterday. Got Jake buried next to Cooper. Took 3 yrs to find Cooper. :shakes head: Had to use a metal detector. Next up is the retaining wall behind the shed. Then moving the fire pit. Then pool.

They're back together at least. That's all that matters. Sounds like you'll have a busy summer.

Happy week's end as this week is one to put behind us. My heart and prayers go out to Carp and his family. We lost two employees this past Friday night as the where traveling back to Kingman from Phoenix when they ran head on into a runway driver. They were killed instantly along with of their grandmother and a 15 year old nephew. They were both less than 25 years old. They both worked in my department before promoting to other position where they were doing very well. I and my wife will also be visiting and friend of our tomorrow who is on hospice at home with cancer and is not long for this world. I am so thankful for you all and that we can share our successes and tragedies together. Life is short, celebrate every chance you get, give someone a hug, smile at a stranger, laugh out loud and let people know that you love them. Be safe and sanitary yawl!!!! Much love and respect!!!!!
