When hand turning over our motors, does it matter if it gets turned clockwise or counterclockwise? I know on some motors it can affect the timing

The rule of thumb is to turn the motor over the same way it runs. Unless it's locked up.

I hate Rawlings Wy. now. Got a speeding ticket. 48 in a 30. First ticket since 1993. :shakes head: Left the motel going to the wedding. Topped the top of the hill. Just shifted into 3rd at about 1000rpm. I know I wasn't going 48. GPS showed 40. $140 for the pleasure of talking to the officer. After he got done talking, and asked if I had any questions. I said yeah. Was you expecting some young kid behind the wheel. He said yeah, he wasn't expecting some older person.

Yes, true. But will it hurt anything if its turned a couple rotations by hand counterclockwise?

If something is a left handed thread. It might unscrew it. That's the only thing I can think of.

If you're not using a lot of force. I don't see the chains jumping.

When I turned my spare motor over, I removed the plugs, put a little marvel mystery oil in each spark plug hole, filled the crankcase with oil, installed my spare trans and starter and cranked it with the starter

Oh yeah. I was getting leakdown from the exhaust valves on cylinder #3. After turning it over for a few minutes, the valves reseated and no more leakdown

Be like that guy over in Europe. Tossed out his old hard drive. Only to find out it had his pocket book on it. The hard drive is worth around $270 million dollars. The hard drive is in a dump somewhere.

I don't know what that idiot was thinking. With that kind of crypto, you buy a hardware wallet and store it in a safe deposit box.

China has an electric shortage now. Rolling blackouts. Because they band the import of Aussie coal. :icon14: The CCP has a hard-on for crypto because they can't control it. They have cracked down on a couple of broker houses there.

Was trying out the launch control feature in UpRev on the HR nismo. Second pull was pretty good. Tires just hooked up,, but I now have a whining noise that appears that it's coming from the rear diff? It's not super loud, but if I keep it at 3k rpms I can hear it occasionally. Wonder if I just Fried it. Any thoughts? Noise was never there before.

60k miles and I used redline mt-85. Maybe only 10k miles after diff. Oil change.
