i was looking at maybe trying those new Falken AZENIS RT660tires for the Z. now that i will not be driving to the office both cars are going to be minimally used during the warm months here.sadly RE-11's are gone and my spares have dwindled to just 2 sets of front and a 50% pair of rears.

still looking at RE-71s too.

I have read and watched about every review on this tire and they are supposed to be faster than RE-71s and NT01s and last almost as long as NTO1's for track use. I just tired of all of the BS. Rusty, Bob & I (and a few others) have been around long enough to remember the 60s & 70s, when being in the military WASN'T cool. Hell, I got spit on and called 'baby killer' at LAX 2 days after boot camp.

I was in uniform (only clothes I had) and some douche canoe hocked up one on my uniform. Unfortunately for him, there were 2 LAPD officers right behind him, one of whom was a Marine.

I just want to be left alone to enjoy my life and not worry about some azzhole getting in my face because they don't like the license plate on my cars. If it didn't snow so much in Montana & Wyoming, I'd go live there.

I'd probably be better off living between Amarillo & Lubbock....

Which reminds me, I better start stocking up on cigars.....

The media started going south with the Vietnam war. The sensationalized things to the point of us losing the war. Many my age were torn between those we knew in the service by choice or not and what the media was putting out. I wanted to stay out of the service because with most things Blacks died at a higher rate than non-blacks. That said it change the view of many who had biases to the place of understanding. Dead is dead and I can care less what your skin color is when we are a foxhole together. We need each other.

It seems like today is no different than then, people hate on the military and law enforcement just the same. I won't buy a law enforcement license plate or display a FOP sticker on any of my vehicles because of fear of being targeted, it is worst than being Black and walking into a cowboy bar back in the day. I got a lot of free drinks when they found out I was a game warden and liked horses and bovine LOL.

Altho personally I'm ok with the whole kill all the lawyers thing.
