JL would be proud of me. We took a hike around my son's property. On one side is the South Fork of the North Platte River. Great fly fishing. Seen a lot of deer and elk tracks. Seen one set of bear tracks. Took most of the day to walk around the property.

That's a big thumbs up from me. We spent the day hiking Gertrudes Nose near Rochester, and drove from there to Ithaca. Tomorrow, Robert H Treman park, Watkins Glen, and possibly Toughahannock falls (courtesy of Lein - thanks for the rec!). Tomorrow night we start looping back through Northern PA. We'll hike around Cherry Springs for a day, and meander slowly home from there. Glad to see you all are doing well!

Never hiked at that altitude, but I've skied above that, and know the feeling. My last trip out to SLC Utah to ski at Alta and in the surrounding areas, I actually had a low grade headache from the altitude for several days.
