Cast the first ballot for my precinct - after 50 minutes of waiting. teh interwebz was broken so they ran about all aflutter until one of the workers remembered they had paper ballots...

Just had my dad call me. He went to vote and the lady accidentally marked him as me. He noticed the mistake and told her. She put a little asterisk next to my name and marked his name alongside his signature.

i just got back after wasting close to 2 hrs because the new guy on shift didn't believe me that the lady made a mistake. He ended up calling a bunch of people to get it straightened out even though I didn't have a signature next to my name at all or final checkmark that i voted.

So they finally got ahold of the previous person who made the mistake and she approved that I hadn't voted yet. Between all that time, i think 30 people came and went.....
