I left KC with temps in the 90s.... I get home to mid 50s and rain...

It's raining now and will probably continue into the weekend.....

Austin temp average for the year doesn't change more than 1 degree for pretty much the last 100 years. So when we have hotter than hell summers, we get pretty cold winters to make up the temp difference. And when summers are mild, we get mild winters. I don't think we're going to see anything too crazy this year as summer hasn't been outrageous. Although we sometimes get some crazy winter weather even with a mild summer - in those years the winter is mostly very warm with a few weeks of crazy cold.
