Get a chunk of 4x4 and a 2x4 to stash in the trailer, they only need to be 12"-18" long. Put the 4x4(and maybe the 2x if needed) in front of the good tire. Pull the trailer onto the 4x4 to change the flat. No need for a jack when changing trailer tires

Edit: or just use the boards in the pic

Hi Rusty apparently this wont work on my trailer as it has a leaf springs. This thing only work with torsion type of trailers.

It would only raise my good tire but wont lift the flat one. It would have been convenient. I guess back to Daytona yellow. I just hate to bring extra weight on the back of my truck.

It will work. I just raised one tire the other day when I was working on my trailer brakes.

Ok was just reading the reviews at Amazon. I’ll probably try to use 2x4 to test it out. If it does work I’ll buy the trailer plus ramp.

Its ok to raise it loaded with the car right? Its a hustle to unload just to to tire change.

Ok good to know...will make a 2 2x6 stacked like ladder steps for easy rolling of the tire.

That is what I do. I use some 2x6's nailed together. I make my own ramps.
