Second coat went much better. Turned air pressure down some and adjusted flow to be slower.

I didnt have any tape handy. I wont use this on the car for a very long time if ever again but you are definitely correct!

Part of the prep work. Protect the threads, and holes. No fun chasing threads after everything else is done.

Turned out OK with no base coat but any discoloration in the metal and you can see it in the finish.

I recommend a wipe down using lint-free rags and at least 70% Isopropyl alcohol. After that, wear gloves and coat within 24 hrs. We find that minimizes blemishes caused by oils from hands and dirt.

That is what I did for second piece lol. I used a paint prep product with a nonlint rag. turned out much better as you can see in the pics. I appreciate the advice, keep it coming.

Keep in mind you need high temp tape. I'll post a link to the place I get my stuff from when I get home.

If anyone is looking to buy body armor. It will take a minimum of 12 weeks to get it. Some places are saying 16 weeks. There is that much of a demand for it right now.

You will need silicone plugs and tape for the calipers.

And you might want to give A Solutions Auto Parts a call or hit them up on FB. They have/had a '16 Nismo 49k miles (post was june 30th) that still had the calipers on it. Good chance that's not the only set they have.
Might still have the wheels too, they look to be in really good shape
