there's around 20-25 2020 AMG GT's going through. smattering of plain ones, verts, and GT-R's going through. theres even a special order AMG GT-R PRO going through asking $219k

real curious to see what the normal ones go through for.

Just looked it up. starting 162k. Not a fan of those. The only car where that really long hood looks good on is the Viper IMO.

they spool stupid fast.

turbos are on top of the V8 in the valley. awesome design idea.

i kinda like them plus theres a few locally and look great in person which isnt always the case with some cars.

Hate to hear this.

Voluntary furlough has to be in by Monday and mandatory furloughs begin May 1. No bonuses for a few years, no 403b match, no cashout of pto. We are hemorrhaging a lot of money right now with nothing coming in because of the Gov't restrictions. No guarantees of coming back at end of 90 day voluntary furlough.

FPenvy 04-23-2020 12:02 PM

those mercedes were all hit by the tornadoes. no damage, written off to the delaers since they were at the rpep location didnt even go to destinations. all clean titles and avg is 20k under wholesale. wholesale on the last one was 144k sold for 128k only factory test miles on it clean title.

madwi 04-23-2020 12:03 PM

Looks like extra $ from gov't unemployment insurance is going to stop in july also

Your stupid Governor needs to start to loosen the restrictions. This is when I get pissed. Let the people make their own choice, Not some government fool making it for them.

Id take voluntary, but its weeks to get unemployment started plus the extra $600 goes away in July, takes hours every week to go through to put in your claim. ugh. Maybe I should do voluntary and get used to the system before it possibly and most likely becomes mandatory layoff.

madwi 04-23-2020 12:16 PM

I'll still feed you degenerates at July meetup though. Maybe not have top tier liquor around but I can get you some Blatz beer. :icon17:

Dang man, I hope things work out with your job once all is said and done.

Leingod 04-23-2020 12:21 PM

My God that sucks. You think they'd really put your name on the chopping block for mandatory furlough? If any of us can help out, just let us know. I'll bring the damn beer for July. Haha

It comes down to is your postion NEEDED at this time? Do you operate and maintain a critical infrastructure app or hardware? Can we utilize this persons skill set for a NEED. Is night shift tech work NEEDED? maybe. I have a feeling my working from home these past few weeks was a test of how it would go without support staff onsite.

I am really sorry to hear this and I feel for you. My brother is an independent contractor. He is a sound engineer and his livelihood is working large scale conventions. He has been out of work since the beginning of this thing! Same goes for my wife.

Hopefully things will change for you. Our Governor announced yesterday that elective surgeries could start up again on May 1. Make sense to me. Sterile environments and no one is going to be operated on that is sick!

My brothers friend in Peoria was admitted to the Hospital this past weekend. He stopped eating and couldnt walk. Not sure if it was an ER visit or not though. Its been an ongoing issue with him. He had a colonoscopy and bloodwork done.

Good IS staff is invaluable. You may get cut for awhile until something catastrophic happens and you will be back.

Sorry to hear that. It is crazy times. One of my racing buddies actually broke his foot at the last track event two days before the shutdown here. His wife is a nurse manager for Banner and he works in facilities. He was put on furlough and told that he needed surgery on his foot but it would have to wait until they could figure out heads or tails of the COVID crisis. He finally got it about a couple of weeks later.
