Is there really such a thing as 'ethical hacking'? Seems to be a contradiction in terms, like 'military intelligence'.....

i disagree somewhat.

yes, boost bug is now all i want is boosted cars.

i will however jump on something like an LFA which has probably the best sounding stock engine/exhaust of all time. or something with a NA V12 like the ferrari F12/812 superfast or a big boy lambo.

It was so strange...saw less than a dozen people and there was know of the familiar sounds of crowds people, music and traffic and what not. Those guys that hand out the cards a flyers would be bored stiff. There were no street performers. I was kind of spooky.

Had the oil change on the wife's car. Too low to get under it at the house. I need some long Race Ramps that are tall. I also had the tires balanced. It rode like crap since they put the new wheels on the right side from the pot hole incident and new front tires. That is one thing I will bitch about. It is my pet peev.

I thought I saw something about either a class action lawsuit or a recall on the wheels for the C7 Vettes. I could have been hallucinating, it seems to happen more and more....:icon14:

Yeah, they bend easy. Wife wanted to keep it stock so stock wheels went back on. My friend I use to work beside at the dealership obviously didn't do the tire install and wheel change. He fixed me up this morning. Smooth ride now. He confirmed what I noticed, someone counter weighted the wheels. Road like chit. I know he didn't do it because he is a grumpy old pain in the arse just like me who won't stand for it. Not sure how someone else got their hands on it. I always request him to work on the vette. He is one grumpy son of a gun. Puts me to shame. LMAO.

My Z32 has been off the road for nearly 10 years. Never got around to seriously working on it. Between them, I completely modified an S13 - spent far too much on it and it cost me a relationship (every cloud has a silver lining - lucky escape that one)
Bought a Mercedes CLK which I have to say, the Germans know how to make a comfortable high miler
And then Olive my Z34 Roadster

So today I set about detailing the Z32 interior.

I got into detailing with a bit of OCD after watching Larry Kosilla’s AmmoNYC videos and Chemical Boys, so it took me a day to remove a decade worth of Junk from just the rear seats, trim and foot wells. Probably hit the seats 4 times with leather cleaner before starting on the carpets which had come and beer stains on them and whatever else happened in the previous years (not that. I like a flexible girl but rear seats in a Z32 are impossible)

Got most of the junk up with a vacuum (Numark Henry - they use them in hotels) then proceeded to get the carpets warm and moist (just how I like them) with a steam cleaner before attacking them with VAX carpet shampoo and a good old wooden scrubbing brush.

Holy crap. The carpets went from looking like they were destined for the junkyard to looking like they had just come from the showroom.

Back to the leather seats. Years ago before I had it, someone had tried to dye the cracks in the leather with a dye that didn’t match and it looked patchy, so I attacked the seats with the steam cleaner (mop covered in microfibre towel) and the junk really started to lift out the leather. Another clean with Poorboys Leather cleaner and the dye had gone and the cracks had faded probably because most of the colour had come from decades old dirt. Then used some Sheraton Leather Balsam and once that has really set in going to use a carnauba / bees wax blend leather conditioner / moisturiser. The cracks have already disappeared. I’ll get some pics tomorrow.

The best bit, found my steam cleaner has a pin hole attachment so I can into the switches etc.

It’s stunning what you can do with a bit of time - which is what most of us have at the moment.

Front seats tomorrow and then I’m going to figure out how to convert it to a double din CarPlay unit

Oh and I might attack the carpets again with the Dyson, because we all know dyson’s continue sucking like Dutch hookers

Salmon filet tonight. Hoisin/soy/sugar on a couple pieces and a butter dill on the others. Sous vide bath- 107F for 45 minutes. Blast skin side down in a hot cast iron pan. The filet was so huge I got 6 portions out of it :yum:

My essential days might be coming to an end for a bit. My newly repaired shoulder didn't hold up well to 1/2 a 30' stick of 8 bar dropped in my hand from 3 feet...

Why does no one ever listen to the guys in the fvcking field? I've told all these aholes repeatedly. If they keep building these bins like this people will get hurt or worse. But fvck it, save the cost of 12,000 feet of rebar is more important than disposable people

I'm putting myself on permanent light duty. They can all kiss my azz

I have not done either of those. I usually just hit tuna filet on all sides for 30 seconds on grill and call it done.

Why would you sous vide Tuna? Seer it 30-45 sec a side and throw that bitch on a plate.

Salmon and swordfish are great for sous vide. I agree for tuna though. Hard sear and call it a night.
