I use a Rubbermaid 18qt with the lid made specifically for Anova. I like using it because the lid serves a way to keep the bags out of the fan.

:hello:

Work, come home, more work. Get pissed off. :shakes head: Go back to Home Depot from where I just came from. Trying to hook up the new faucet that the wifey got from Amazon to the new plumbing I installed last night. The shut valves I installed are your typical 3/8" shut off valves for the bathroom. The hoses on the new faucet do not fit your typical 3/8" or even the 1/2" shut off valves. The hoses are FVCKING metric. :shakes head: Spent about 1.5 hours there trying to figure out a solution. Go home. Look on line, and order a new faucet from Home Depot. Told the wifey that she is no longer allowed to order faucets from Amazon. The last 2 she ordered from there, I had troubles with but made them work.

Grrrrr!!!!!!!

eastwest2300 04-21-2020 09:31 PM

I got my impact sockets from Home Depot in the mail just now... huge assist to my neighbor for picking them up for me so the thieves couldnt steal 'em.

or going to put some down for the McLaren? :driving:

well the plan has always been midengine toy after the GTR. like the audi but since i got the taste of TT with the GTR the mclaren sounds more fun lol

to TT the audi is about $50k minimum from UGR.

tuner wise idk. im doing my best to keep money tight until this virus stuff calms down. need to see what happens job wise, job market wise, etc....

not gonna lie when this stuff settles and weather is good i'm tempted to take some time off and go hit up a golf course up in TO. saw a few nice ones right over the boarder.

Tting the r8 might make it faster, but it would ruin the driving experience and the sound, that v10 is glorious, have you ever heard one with test pipes and titanium cbe rev? My god, it’s the perfect exhaust sound period.

Besides, modding your gtr, no r8 is gonna match that car $$ for $$. The gtr is the supercar for the Everyman and maintenance etc is cheap compared to just about anything else at that performance level, Porsche, Lamborghini, mclaren, etc.

i agree it does sound awesome stock but i would toss the short tails i've seen for it and add some volume.

the GTR is stupid fast stock. like i said last week i beat a huracan twice from a 40 and 50 roll lol

If, or rather since the gtr can scratch your go fast itch, your next nice car to go alongside it could be more about the driving experience and the style vs just pure all out performance, best of both worlds. Hell, pick up a 996 gt3 or a 997 turbo, those would be fun to drive cars.

You could get a new gulia quadrofolio, that car is great and you could even daily it to boot, one of the best sports sedans out there and one helluva car.

The stelvio is awesome, as y’all know I’m biased toward German cars and cuvs, but that is one nice suv, Italians really know how to make great looking cars.
