Stirling Moss passed. RIP.

Motion, he said, was tranquillity. Why, he wondered, do people walk, since God gave them feet that fit automotive pedals?

Ok...so when we all get to Grand Rapids...someone needs to explain to Melissa how this is just another thing like the csc and dif bushing that nissan just fked up on and is a necessary repair to keep the car running properly.

Why spend that much money on a piece of kit. Get a Fast Intentions kit and be done with it. With all the crap you will have to put up with
you will spend less money on an FI kit.

Doesn't the engine have to come out for the FI kit?

I think the power surges from the storms last week blew out the capacitor in my new AC unit.... I'm just trying to stay cool, so im downstairs with the floors with my own iced coffee and cold apple pie.

I decided to try out my ecutek launch control today. Found a nice secluded parking lot, and turned off traction control. My first launch was at 4000 rpm. It launched hard but immediately popped out of gear. I then set the launch at 3500 rpm and tried it again. This time, as soon I launched it, it spun the tires, started to get some wheel hop and popped put of gear again. I wonder if the way the linkage is set up on the coolerworx shifter that it pops out of gear when the trans get's jarred from a hard launch. I do have the Z1 poly mount.

The second launch, the slip and abs lights came on and it threw a P0117 code which I was able clear right away with ecutek dongle.

Good thing I didn't set this up to be a drag racer.

I usually don't park in the garage, but with all this bad weather and hail coming in, I thought it would be a good idea.

That's one of the things I don't like about the Coolworx shifter. It's mounted to the body, not the transmission. So any play in the mounts will show up at the shifter. The fix would be a solid tranny mount.

I'll never use launch control, I just wanted to try it out once. The coolerworx works flawlessly otherwise.

Try at a much lower rpm. Unless you have a good surface and hot tires it's kinda pointless but sti fun to play with
