Anyone looking for an aging only half broken down carpenter/operator/finnisher/rod buster/form setter/superintendent/ expiditer/inspector? I might need new essential things to do after I hit the office tomorrow.

Because if they think for one fcking second I'm giving my loaded lariat to a kid thats been here a whole year and jump in a stripped out pile of chit after 11 years of making them money they thought wrong. I can go anywhere and drive junk and make at least the same if not more money

Everyone has lost there freaking minds. It's a complete chit show everywhere. Every state has completely different things going on. Indiana has food trucks in the rest stops :wtf: if I had been east bound I could of had street tacos of the ride home. Side of covid19 is a 50/50. West bound side had hit dogs and funnel cakes...not worth the risk but tacos would be my downfall

ohh it's not happening. the new guy can have a brand new truck. It might have 30-50 miles on it. When I got my truck it had 26 miles. It only has 118k now:icon14: I just got it broke in.

And there are 2 of us not doing this. The other guy has let his new truck sit in the lot for 2 weeks. We have the same truck, got them at the same time. He is the second tenured foreman and I'm 4th. To top it off another foreman put in his notice on tuesday.

It's still making boost so I'm hoping it's confined to just the bearings and not the gears. I'll probably have it rebuilt and sell it.

Most likely a bearing. But if the bearing allowed the shaft to drop. Impeller, and maybe gears. Won't know for sure until it's apart. The impeller to disfuser clearance is tight. You're talking thousands. When i worked on PAP units. We would set them up with about .020 clearance. On this smaller stuff, I don't know how tight they run it.

I have. It was exactly what I thought it was AND exactly what I thought it wasn't. I'm sure it's the right car for some people though, but not me. Plus, again, I can't justify spending that kind of money on a civic.

AND it's not even made in Japan. To some people, this is important.

I'm debating on which one of your posts to EW is better. This one or the other one where you mentioned about hurricane season and his office building where they would tell him "essential employees only :gtfo2:"

The impeller hasn't hit the volute, I could see that. The bearings are ceramic, if a race broke open I wonder how much damage they could do to the gears compared to steel bearings. But, you're right. I won't know for sure until it's opened up.

It's vitally important in this time of Covid that we support the differently-abled. EW needs all the support he can get bro!
