It’s not that all will die. It’s that there will be people that will die that would not have died if they never got the virus. Having a pre-existing condition might not kill you on its own, but the chances of complication dramatically increase when exposed to this virus. Or TB or pneumonia, etc.
Limiting exposure is the first step in containing and controlling the spread of the virus. We already know not everybody dies from it. Does not mean we expose all to it just because.
