MZ DAIZY

I personally know three people that have died this month. 2 worked together and one didn’t. The common thing they shared is they weren’t very healthy.

One was a diabetic
One was a heavy smoker
One had lung cancer (stage 4)

All three were counted as Coronavirus deaths, but it makes me wonder how many other people are being lumped in those death stats.

If a person dies in an accident and covid is found in their system, theyre counted as a covid statistic.

Couldnt find the original article from earlier month when I read about it. But heres a couple, Maybe dying from an accident unrelated to Covid, but being added to the stat if its in your system is a stretch? Who knows. But given that a CV PT has an upcharge, it wouldnt surprise me.

Strict federal definition: Until April 14, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention counted as COVID-19 deaths only those in which the coronavirus was confirmed in a laboratory test — even as testing was not widely available; now, CDC counts probable cases and deaths. The day the change was announced, New York City’s COVID-19 death tally soared by more than 3,700 when it included in its total the deaths of people who were suspected of having COVID-19 but were never tested.

I can understand 2 of them being counted, but claiming a stage 4 cancer patient died of the flu is disingenuous at best.
