To be fair, other locations are quickly approaching Italy's rates, which isn't a good sign. Look at Spain and UK and France now. New York is right there, too. I'm not suggesting it won't get that bad. It is early. Who knows where we go from here. That was my main point - we don't really have enough information to make any solid judgments yet. Next summer, I expect we'll have a pretty good understanding of what the virus was doing right now lol.

I was just saying I won't be surprised if the mortality rates are inflated because so many people get infected that aren't ever tested. Testing as many people as possible and research for treatment are the critical things right now. No point in even talking about statistics, frankly. We know they are bad and that's all we need to know right now.

Even if it was accident, we need to punish China for being dumb and hiding the fact that caused countless of deaths. They can start with taking away the independence status of HK from an economic standpoint, that would prevent a lot of inflow of capitol. We can then talk about taking their treasury notes after.

Also Taiwan broke the news they are trying to buy up all the rice in the world, likely to extort other countries a few months from now. They are evil and stupid at the same time, I hope people see through it.

Currently, I am more worried about how the USA punishes those in power here.

From the dummies in the streets with guns and confederate flags claiming states rights and spreading the virus, to the governors, lawmakers and up to the top in the Oval Office that choose the $$$ over the health of those that keep the 1% in their ivory towers.

I have been following this since December, I know. If we had shut down the border and took this more seriously, we wouldn't be where we are. The administration is completely useless and dysfunctional, I don't expect anything from them. (Also a shout out f you to the WHO for being China's muppet) The whole two party fight is annoying and dumb to me. If one team decides to stand for something, the other team has to stand against it. They are just doing it to spite the other team. This is why we don't get anything done. The protection to the big business and ultra rich is obvious to me, the stock market is only down about 15% compare to 12-31-2019. Does that sound right to you? (I dumped a lot of my stocks and put myself in holding pattern)

Listen, I get that most of what you're saying is intended in good fun, taking a shot at us and being ok with us taking a shot back. Problem is, that's a bit of a cultural difference. You get to do that kind of stuff when we're friends, not before. Stick around, build some relationships and some friendships, and it'll be good. Until then, you're better off not taking the shot.

No offense, but UK is in much worse shape the US is. Boris Johnson got re-elected, he got the virus, he still wants to use Chinese stuff on 5G. USD/GBP will be 1:1 pretty soon.
