Fox news reported that the first person in Tampa, FL to have the coronavirus has fully recovered and medically cleared by the dept. of health. I know a lot of people are eeire about clicking on a link on the interwebs, so if you google search "Kaelyn Sheedy coronavirus", the story should pull up. She's a 29-year old who visited northern Italy and came back with the virus, and this was I believe approx. 2.5 weeks ago. She's actually quite a hottie.

From the WSJ: "Deutsche Bank said gross domestic product could shrink 24% in the eurozone and 13% in the U.S. in the second quarter on an annual, seasonally adjusted basis—declines that would be the biggest in recorded history."

For more encouraging news... S Korea and China's virus trends have been improving over the past few weeks. China's stock market has been performing nicely lately as well.

I really wonder where North Korea is at with their COVID-19 numbers.

So, what are the odds governments, faced with such an economic situation, will start to weight the odds and relax all the lockdowns and regulation and shift this to just a hospital crisis vs worldwide economic/political meltdown? We can take a short term alteration in lifestyle, but longer term, will be disasterous for the powers that be, and they know it.

Also, I wonder how different the stats would look from year to year if the media were micromanaging and reporting the data from the common flu each year? My guess is quite similar.

So all of south Florida beaches are closed, but Pinellas County beaches (west central Florida) remain open per county officials. Why?????

The millennials think it's the boomers disease. I saw on the news today that 40 some percent of the people that get it are between the age's of 25 and 59.

Now folks are gonna start getting stupid. The young folks have no clue what could be coming. I was at Tractor supply getting dog food. The dumb cash register was saying, "Oh, we will be shutting down soon. So are all the Walmarts". No food for you or your animals, when that starts happening the looting will start. Mobs will go and get it because they have no choice a couple of weeks afterward. They need to keep the essential stores open and stocked at all cost or it will get ugly quick. Stupid arse young bimbo has no clue what will come if all that happens.

Disrupt the food supply. Within 3 weeks, it will be mass chaos. Be a lot of dead people from being shot. Read some of the survivor stories from the Bosnian war. Should be on everyone's reading list.

Wifey and me are going to the range on Saturday to get some practice in. We haven't shot in a while.

Yup, they can't even hint that it will be an issue or else the mass run on the stores will get 10 times worse.

There could have been asymptomatic people walking around since last year. If you could possible count all of them, which is near impossible to test that many, it would reduce the mortality rate to less than 1%. https://science.sciencemag.org/conte...cience.abb3221

Not sure but I know we don't have shelter in place here.

There seems to be no lack of supplies or food in my area. The shelves are a little thin in places but ya can get what you need.
Went to the meat store today and got 10 lbs. ground chuck & 10 boneless chicken breasts with lots steaks, roasts and chops available

Nor here. In fact, i was able to have my new JVC dd head unit installed in my jeep today at Best Buy.

I spoke too soon. California is now on a "stay at home order". It's funny, there are 250,000 confirmed cases in the world and our idiot governor just said that over 25 million of the 40 million Californians will become infected within an 8 week period. He just pulled that number out of his azz which is surprising because he's got his head so far up there you'd think it would be in the way. :shakes head:

If you are buying gun stuff. When you log on to Midway's website. This is what you get. Ammo is being limited on how much you can get. A lot of it is out of stock.

MidwayUSA is still open and we are still taking orders!

To serve you better, we’ve had to make some tough choices in our day-to-day operations.

We have temporarily stopped taking phone calls and shifted many of our Customer Support Employees to our warehouse so we can ship your orders as quickly as possible. If you need help, please use the Contact Us page.
Effective March 19 at 6:30 p.m. we will temporarily suspend our Customer Order Pick-Up service based on the President’s “15 Days to Slow the Spread” plan and guidance from the CDC.
We have implemented purchase quantity limits on some items. To ensure each of our Customers has an opportunity to purchase the products they need, we have applied quantity limits to some items with exceptionally high demand.

With just two cases, I'm hoping these are just botched tests or other misdiagnosis. From what little evidence there is, it appears that it doesn't cause the dogs any problems and cannot be transmitted back to humans. Too early to tell for sure.
