With the possibility of self quarantine for up to 14 days and maybe more, you dont want to run out of supplies. I agree that alot of people are taking it to the extreme, but you still have to be prepared.

For those that will be infected but will go out to buy food, and other supplies because they werent prepared, thats pretty irresponsible. They may pull through if they contract the virus, but they could infect someone else who might be in their 60+ or with pre-exisiting conditions that will affect them gravely.

Im supposed to be at 12 hr of Sebring tomorrow but is was cancelled and moved to November as the last race of the season. I was so mad.

It may not be the end of the World but it looks like things are going to get very serious before this is all over. While I am concerned about the virus, I am more concerned about panicked mobs - with more and more people either sick or isolating, the supply chain will likely suffer severe disruptions and goods will disappear from the shelves for extended periods. Especially true for food; groceries are a just-in-time system and there is not a lot of stock sitting in warehouses.

I'm not a hard-core prepper - I just want to be ready for tornadoes, floods, and, yes, a pandemic. More like a Boy Scout being prepared. I already have enough supplies to last a couple of months, so the only thing I did out of the ordinary is get an extra 24-pack of TP. Will probably buy some more vienna sausages, tuna in foil packs, and other long shelf life foods but not going to go overboard.

Guys just to inform you this is a good alternative to rolls of TP

Imported items are just about gone from the warehouses. We might become a warehouse for something else. Truck drivers are a mixed bag right now.

Had a FedX order come in today. It was 2 boxes of jumbo rolls of TP for some guy. The guy is lucky to get it.

One store had a special order of cleaning supplies for the store it's self. The box was unopened by the Rec Dept. It was moved to the side. Some customers opened the box when no one was looking and emptied it. :mad: Was told when we receive our box. We are to take straight to the store manager's office.

No dead bodies......................................yet.

I’m going to side step the overtly religious stuff for the sake of the forum rules and plus, there’s no point arguing about it anyway.

So, here goes:

Suffering is a universal condition for all living things. Generally, there are two outcomes that come from it, one can become selfish, bitter, hateful and scared. Or, one can see the shared common bonds that tie us all together, gain patience, empathy and compassion.

Suffering is what makes the good, good and what allows us to appreciate life and all the positives in it. Wisdom comes from experience and there is no stronger experience than trials and tribulations. The old saying “you learn more from loses than you do from victories” applies here.

This pandemic is an opportunity for all of us to remember we are all stuck on this rock together and we need to work together and be there for each other even if it’s only on some small ways.
