Ya know, this wouldn't be happening unless someone from the hot spots came into these states and had the Corona Virus because they didn't want to stay put. If the hot spots closed their boarders this would not be necessary. All the snowbirds are flocking down to Florida and bringing the virus with them which will make Florida turn into another hot spot. It's really simple as to why it is happening. Now they are getting turned around at the Ga./FL. boarder. This is not good for Georgia. Freaking infected people all up and down the Interstates.

The idiot mayor of New Orleans let Mardi Gras go on. Now that area is a hot spot. The police there are stopping anyone with a out of state license plate to leave the state.

I don't understand why states haven't closed off their borders from the get-go. As of today, FL has over 4K confirmed cases (imagine what the true numbers really are). The governor of FL refuses to issue a statewide stay-at-home order because he is stuck between saving "people or the economy". Really?? There will be no economy if everyone is infected and/or dies lol.

And they are turning everyone around at the border? Meaning they are refusing entry to FL?

WWE's WrestleMania was scheduled to be in Tampa on 04.05.20. All the other performances/live events/venues/etc. were cancelled immediately due to COVID-19, except for WM, which the city finally cancelled after much pressure, and WWE was still planning on moving forward with the event before the announcement

Well, at ~ 1.5% mortality rate (skewed toward the elderly), i doubt everybody dies. And if the economy tanks, we'll all be looking at something worse than a 1.5% mortality rate. Much worse, e.g., huge unemployment, riots, murders,... and still be dealing with covid19.
At some point we'll need to decide if it's worth continuing trying to fight mother nature this way at the greater population's peril.
