Sun shining right now. But have more rain in the afternoon. Under a flood warning, flash flood warning. :icon14: The river was running high yesterday when I seen it.

Lakes Superior, Huron, Michigan. & St Clair the Detroit and St.Clair rivers are all at historic levels with flooding expected from now till late spring.
12 years ago everything was at historic lows

Not a good time to take farm tractors out in the field. You would sink them up to the frame.

Thought I was holding steady just under 250 :wtf2:

Ordered new shocks, rotors and brake pads for the Passport. Not really inclined to do the work so I called a local shop to get a quote for labor. Almost $800 bucks...

I guess I better pick up some brake fluid and change that as well since Ill be doing the work this weekend.

Rusty 02-12-2020 03:43 PM

We was forecasted for a inch of rain today and tonight. Well........it's coming down as snow. :shakes head: One inch of rain equals 10 to 12 inches of snow.

JLarson 02-12-2020 04:29 PM

Ugh, total cost $8500 for tree removal. Ended up taking down 7 additional trees because of ash bore and rot (so in total, the storm + stupid beetle + old age got 10.5 of my trees). I guess my garage will live but my wallet has died a terrible death.

Howdy fellas, here for my weekly check in lol. Just began ordering my 30k maintenance fluids/supplies.

Hotrodz 02-12-2020 05:28 PM

Well, guys we are gonna put my old to rest tomorrow! Been trying not to think about it but the old boy's mind is not right and he is having more and more trouble getting up and falls down frequently. It is such a hard thing to do as otherwise he is strong as ever as far as body weight and he eats and drinks normally so it not like he totally deteriorated other than his mind and back end. Think about me tomorrow as our appointment is 8AM.

Thoughts are with you my man, I know the pain. It's one of those things you never want to do, but its better to end the suffering. When we put our lab down many years ago it was hard, but its the right thing to do.

Agreed! He not gonna get any better and better to do it now than when he absolutely has no quality of life. He is tired I can see it in eyes. Time to let him rest.

I just took mine to the Vet today. Found out she has a herniated disk in her spin causing nerve issues on her right rear leg. Doc gave me meds for her and said if she doesn't improve by Friday I will need to make a decision. Bay is 15 years old. This is never easy and always a heart breaker.
