Good Washing Your Hands Monday Guys. Hope you all had or at least tried to have a good weekend. Last nights steaks were awesome to say the least. The Mrs starts working from home today until the BS is over. 60% chance of rain today with a high of 74*. Just a few things on the to do list today after coffee then working out. Stay safe and stay positive. Oh and keep washing those hands.

Both of her father in law who is a MD and Wife died of covid19 last week.
Bodies cremated. I hate to post this in public but this is reality guys. People are dying.

I dont know what to say guys...i wish I could laugh today.

I thought you meant she was in your dept.
I wish more people understood that this is real and to take it seriously by staying home.

Positive note, I found three new 3M N95 masks in the garage.

Unfortunately my profession needs to be hands on treatment and teleconference/consultation is not an option.

I just talked to the VP of the hospital last Friday. Requesting to defer treatment to a highly suspected covid19 patient until results come in.

His response was if he would do an exception for me then he has to do the same with other healthcare providers! BS!

But he sits in his glamorous office. Away from the war zone.

Future lawsuits will be at hand. But Im sure HCA (group of hospital) would get away with it.

After you visit the patient, immediately go to his office and shake his hand to thank him for his tremendous leadership. Preferably, still in your PPE :)

Happy Monday everyone :hello:

No more tool days this week :icon17:

Looks like my brother may have it. He sent me a message this morning that he's running a fever and massively fatigued. Work policy is he's out for at least 2 weeks or until cleared by testing, but I'm way more concerned about who he may have infected. As harsh as that sounds, he's 35 and relatively healthy. Assuming he's had it for 10-14 days without realizing, a lot of our shop floor could have been contaminated indirectly.

Not good :-/

In other news, some jackass got my card number and tried to charge $1 at a gas station in San Antonio (as a test I assume) this morning. Had to cancel my card and get a new one.

Trying to decide whether that's good or bad. My old card number was incredibly easy to remember - I had it down in less than 24 hours lol. It's come in handy a few times when I didn't have my physical card with me. But it's also been dangerous at times, as it means I can buy pretty much anything on a whim :icon17:
