Disney management is running them to the ground. We have Downtown Disney here. Free to get in, validate your parking at any store for free. Now, they closed alot of good restaurants and stores to build a hotel, and you have to spend 25 dollars at one store in order for parking validation.. Otherwise its 15 bucks to park.

Increased admission and season prices. Theyre pushing the middle class out of their parks even more.

I've never even been to a Disney park. Have absolutely no desire to either.

I think I went into a Disney store in Barton Creek mall one time. To buy a gf a present maybe? Idk... I have blocked the experience from my memory :tup:

We also have an amusement park here called Knotts Berry Farm. When my niece was 4, I took here there. She wanted to play one of the carnival games where you shoot water at a clown to move a balloon up. They needed more people to play because it was just my neice. The carni was on the megaphone asking passerbys to play. He asked one lady sitting on a bench
"Come and play lady! Help this little girl win a prize!!"
The lady said "Sorry, I dont have any money"
THe carni replied "THATS WHY YOURE HERE, AND NOT DISNEYLAND!"

City shut down the golf course clubhouses. But apparently, you can still play if you walk the course. And it's free! Looks like I found my next activity :tup:

Seriously. I was discussing this with my boss earlier. It is an absolutely amazing side effect that I can drive anywhere in my area now without traffic. I haven't seen an accident on the road in days. I'm not sure if non-essential personnel were just terrible drivers, or if most accidents were caused purely by volume, but either way I95 is more driveable than any other time in my life.

The traffic volume is way down here also, but we still have the morons that can't drive or insist on texting while driving, then crash into the K-rail. Mostly it's the broke mf's that can't buy windshield wipers or tires for their hoopty.....

I think one of the biggest thing thatll come out of this, is that companies will see the viability of allowing remote work. Of course, on a voluntary basis, with some sort of cut in compensation......

Many of the private courses are still open despite shelter regs in effect. Pretty easy to distance physically on the golf course, too.
