Ive had some pretty crazy metal tapes in the machine shop before. Everything else looks so good. Maybe the clamp was scratching it up or something? Just guessing.

Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

my guess is it has a hole or the clamp didnt get tight enough and that was to secure a possible exhaust leak.
