They had neither the gin or vermouth mentioned. But got a chilled glass with gin and vermouth. Had it stirred for 90seconds and then added a splash of chilled water for another 10 seconds. Strained and this is the end result. A bit muddied for my taste, but not bad. I am almost positive he used sweet vermouth.

Back from drive with GF tonight.Great top down weather.
Drove my favorite twisty road along the river.She just ran to store a couple of blocks away.I'm making clam diggers to drink.Have a nice cuban cigar.We are going to hang on the porch for a time on this beautiful night.

Summer is great.

Last time I drank...it was some Vodka (with a flying goose on the side) from a long neck bottle & a stripped out cap; took me a solid 5-minutes to get unscrewed

I think the bartender was trying to poison you.
Sweet vermouth for sure.
If he was not using Hendrick's it would of tasted like pine.
Should of made him drink it.
