On the pet side, I have a sick kitty that is off to the vet today. She's a 6 year old tortie that acts like she's cold, and about all she'll eat is her treats and drink a little water....
Damn, hope she feels better.

Me too. We're hoping it's just a really bad UTI, not that that is good, but it's better than something else. She's kind of the grand daughter's cat, she used to lug her around as a kitten, upside down and the cat never complained.

Going to do a grease, oil, filter and tire rotation on the wife's 4Runner, cut 1.5 ac. of grass, take a shower and then go to work
Going outside now to start while it's still cool

I'z up. Been up since 8am

Working 10:30 to 7pm today.

Tomorrow is vacation time. Don't have to be back to work until the 29th.

Co, NM, Az. are my stops. Change of plans. We are leaving the motorhome home and taking the Grand Cherokee instead. The motorhome isn't due back until 5pm tomorrow. Soon as it's back and gone through. We're on the road. We don't have enough time to pack our stuff into the motorhome, and be where we have to be in time in Denver.

We are giving the Grand Canyon a pass this year. Can't find a campground with an open site or a hotel with a room under $200 a night that is close by. So I'm going to do some fishing, and gopher hunting in NM.

Enjoy your vacation! Have a great time, and make sure you check in to let us know the gophers didn't get you.

Let me know when you are in Phoenix and I will see we can meet up there. If not we can do it another time!

If you have time on your way to CO, stop in KC and have some BBQ at Joe's KC (formerly Oklahoma Joe's). There is a place just off of I-435 (the Roe Avenue exit, then south a couple of blocks. It will be on the left. ) Everything is great, my fav is the Z man....

We will be blowing through there on I70. Unless Garmin takes us on I80.

You won't be able to get through on I70 through KC. It's closed from 169 highway westbound to almost 69 highway. You'll have to either go I 670 (which kind of takes you down town) or take I435 around the north side of KC. 435 is the less congested route, the folks on 670 drive like morons....

Good lord, why did you make your schedule so tight. Forget that, You are on vacation. I can't stand the rushy rush on a long road trip. Way to many things can happen with traffic that can delay you for hrs. It happened to me last year meeting Bob in Austin. Traffic accidents sucked.
