My Fit registration ran out last Nov. Haven't been driving it much except a few loads to the nearby storage unit. But I take old City of Austin parking stickers (prints out at the kiosk and then you stick it to the inside of the windshield on the curb side) and stick it on the driver side just to have something there since I never put on the original registration sticker from when I bought the car. It doesn't look that close, but something there is better than nothing. And it doesn't look like deliberate deception when they do say something
