Tomorrow will be a sht show. I need a 55 meter pump for a 480~ pour at 7:30. Got the call at 5 tonight that the 55 is broke, they think the motor is blown. Only pump available is a 39m. I have to move a small mountain of recycled concrete out of the way to get the 39 set up in probably 3 maybe 4 spots to reach everything plus get the trucks backed up to it. What should have been a lazy 6 hour pour is now a cluster :wtf: I'm taking the weekend off after this they can kiss my :icon23:

None anymore, Nismo dropped off the face of the earth just after he announced he was getting married.

In Hays Ks. for the night.

Found a hole in the wall diner in Russell Ks. that has a to kill for all you can eat food bar. :yum: Great food.:yum:

Stopped to get gas just outside of Salina Ks. Getting gas at the same time was a yellow Porsche 911. Had a roof rack with a kayak and roof trunk, and bike rack on the rear with bike. NJ plates on it. The 911 had a few dents and scratches on it. Looks like it isn't taken care. The guy driving it, looked to be in his late 30's early 40's. He was on the phone the whole time he was pumping gas into it. From what I heard from the phone. He seems to be a trust fund baby that just had his trust fund shut him off. Mommy and daddy had cut him off and he was bitching about it to the person on the other end. It seems the 911 is a lease, and it's up. Said that they will never find it. He's going to drive it into the ground. :rofl2: Damn spoiled rich kid. :shakes head:

I never thought it possible, but headed into bacon overload here...

Yup, my plate just broke in half and some some bacon hit the floor... luckily I was pretty fast... :yum:

Spoiler 07-12-2019 06:12 AM

And then later this morning, i have to undress and have some dude look me over... :icon14:

Spoiler 07-12-2019 06:22 AM

Uh, he claims to be a Dermatologist and will be doing an annual skin check... but I don't trust him...

I guess my trust issue is because I have never ever heard of any other Dermatologist that also takes his clothes off too..

:ugh2:

Oh well, Zoren recommended him and he does accept my insurance.... :icon14:

Oh, yeah, that's Dr Strangefingger. You should be fine.

And as I'm sure Zoren explained, he accepts many forms of "payment"... :ugh:

Enjoy!

Sounds like an opportunity to put most of Rusty's Words of the Day to use :icon23::tup: :wtf2:

Morning all! Network is down in the QC lab so looks like I'm moving my desk till it's fixed, otherwise no work is getting done. The same annoying customer I mentioned yesterday also scheduled a training last night from 9 pm to 10:30 EST, on new packaging specifications, and that was just a joy to attend, let me tell you... At least the VP from my branch was on the call with me. Misery at least enjoys company.

Update:

The tortie is home and looks better than she did 3 days ago. We have to give her subcutaneous hydration twice a day for the next week. She goes back next Saturday for a check up. We put up a baby gate so she wouldn't try to climb the stairs, but left the door to the basement open. We found kitty litter on the top of the washer....;), (the top of the washer is even with the second step down to the basement, so it's not far) so it looks like she's moving around a little. Fingers crossed.... :excited:

Took a 2 day drive and turned it in to a 3 day drive. Be about 1,500 to my oldest son's house. I figure it going to be about 5,000 miles this trip. :driving:
