only differences in FI exhausts to make it not fit is the nismo vs regular based on the different bumper designs.

i'm 98% sure vert and coupe are the same.

Only reason I ask is because I heard some high flow cats work on automatics but not manuals or vice versa.

Someone on the forums is selling a CB with 18" resonators so I might pull the trigger on that over the motordyne shockwave.

interesting. dont really recall any TP or HFC being transmission dependent.

typically the only time the tranny comes into play is with that one trash single turbo kit from Canada.



sidenote: tempted to go home wash the GTR and head to the waterfront for the PCS meet later. havent decided 100% though.

nah youre good i am just not familiar with any HFC not working with the AT. just lack of exposure i guess.


also, saturday is meet #2 of pgh cars and coffee. weather now looks like no rain on saturday.

i tend to go to quite a few so i'll be out somewhere.

these waterfront meets are very rare for me to attend. its a pain getting out there.

i was for sure going based on saturday rainout of cars and coffee.......now i'm not sure if i'm gonna make the trip to the waterfront if the forecast stays that saturday may be dry until late night.

Some of the test pipes with the big resonator won't work with the 7AT since the auto gearbox is much larger than the 6MT.

must be only a couple then since i swear i dont remember hearing of one that didnt work due to AT vs MT. maybe thats because i think straight pipes are life and the only option....

curious. do you recall any that didnt work on both?

The ones with the big resonator off the main pipe. Not sure who makes them, but the additional pipe off the side keeps them from working on the 7AT.
