Almost done this audit. 1 minor finding (manufacturing failed to update a work instruction after changing their procedure). I'm waiting for the auditor to finish up documenting his observations, then we negotiate on a few points, he closes the meeting, and can

They will try to drag it out. The longer it goes. The more money they get. Unless you have a contract with a set amount.

Al (the auditor) is actually pretty good about sticking to his plan. It helps that Dekra (certifying body) wants us to keep using them, which means that they try to limit unexpected costs.

You guys didnt go through a dry run on the work instructions? We used to have constant meetings with each department going through them before we went through the audit.
