I'm off for the next 9 days :happydance: got a long list of things to do with the house and cars getting ready for winter.
Hope my back holds out, last month when I was off my back only lasted for 4 days...... the rest of the time I wasn't worth sheet

old guy 10-13-2018 08:56 AM

I need to finish sucking down this coffee and get started !
I'll be back tonight

I'm a little concerned about EAST WEST taking off to VA.in these cold temps with summer tires

JARblue 10-13-2018 09:15 AM

Happy Saturday everyone! :hello:

A little disappointed I haven't been fishing lately. My fishing buddy says all the rains have totally changed up our river. He landed over a dozen bass in just under 3 hours yesterday in one of the new holes  :excited:

I wouldn't be too worried. He doesn't drive his cars, remember? :icon17:

Does he have summer tires on the Q?

Some of the best fishing I ever had were in heavy downpours. Got 3rd place in a trout tournament. I was fishing in my inflatable pontoon boat, soaked to the bone. Good times! Get out there and get your drags a good workout!

JARblue 10-13-2018 09:24 AM

Actually the weather was beautiful yesterday. Recent rains have been heavy enough to change the landscape of the river in just a few weeks.

As long as there's no lightning, I've never had a problem with fishing in the rain. Although it gets hard to cast a fly line in the heavier stuff.

Only river Ive fished was the Colorado River with my brother a few years ago in Bullhead. Got skunked looking for Stripers. I guess thats the tough part about rivers, the changing landscape. You gotta be more aware of what to look for. :tiphat:

It can be incredibly tough on larger rivers without extensive knowledge. Even on the much smaller San Gabriel you can easily get skunked if you aren't throwing the right fly at the right spot. I prefer to have a guide for larger waters.

Jesus.
You’re going to get some good money’s from me. Still going to set up shipping. And bonez gets my Nismo exhaust.

Really just want exhaust and rear sway. Getting hotchiks for the front.
Have east drive down here to San Antonio and bring him, he needs the practice.:driving:

killrain 10-13-2018 11:14 AM

Though I would need to get insurance if east delivers them. If he lets one go, even just one, I fear my items will have been corroded or melted before getting to me.

:shakes head:

Drive it without a rear sway bar and see how you like it. Mine has been off for over a year now and I really like it.

Interesting. Even more so with the power you are putting down.

How’s the feedback/response?
Pros/cons? :driving:

It allows the rear to rotate more freely so on corner exit you are able to put the power down sooner and more grip. At least that has been my experience.

The con is if you are not comfortable with oversteer it may be unsettling for you. I like my car to oversteer rather than push.

This forum needs a section for locked threads and Banned people. So that we can go back reread them for a laugh. :rofl2:

Some genius who totaled his car by crossing solid yellow twice after cutting off a firetruck or something. Our cars have officially hit the low end for teens to buy them.

That's a great idea actually. A "don't try this at home" section.
