I work tomorrow, then I have the rest of the week off... I'll be on a mini vacation before my drive to VA for some high speed training.

I rented the one that had wheels. It was truly a one man operation. I put in all of my fence post for my horse pasture with one.

Manually disconnecting drives with command line would not release the mapped drive letter. It was the weirdest thing. No issues with internet. It was purely a local thing on one computer with no rhyme or reason. You know what finally solved it? I turned off both the computer and server. Then rebooted the computer first and the mapped drive disappeared. Booted up the server and then remapped the drives. Makes no sense to me but it worked. And troubleshooting like that is why I never went into an IT profession lol

AK needs to get off his butt and activate your Premium membership. Ms. Pint and Cooltoy are getting upgraded as well...

Happy Tuesday everyone :hello:

Godspeed dropped off a battery charger yesterday. Hoping I'll have some time to open up the battery and check out the water level and then give her a big jolt to start the car for the first time in months :driving:

Pros: Not as "Fragile". Doesn't get scratched with the tiniest thing. Easy to Wash. Can Still wax it. Easy to fix/patch (cut a small piece or hit with heat gun and smooth out). Cheaper than paint. Hides any small scratches on the paint under the wrap. Rock chips really aren't a thing unless you're camping behind a semi. Can change the color or add accents easily if it becomes stale.

Cons: Gotta be careful when it comes to say cleaning the edges to not peel up. Cant let it stay dirty for too long, as dirt penetrates the wrap and can cause discoloration / bubbles. Fades slightly if left out in sun for really long time while dirty(Weeks/Months)

Cons only really come into play if you dont take care of it, I.E. keep it from being dirty as heck for long periods of time. And if it starts peeling up you want to smooth it back down or make a small patch before it gets worse.

Plus if its waxed, you can literally hit it with a pressure washer and it cleans up super easy.

:iagree:

hence why i bought the GT-R that i did. whole car nose to tail is clear wrapped :yum:

Well it's raining here again. I hate this weather pattern that we have been in here in Austin for the past 6 week. Hope it clears up especially with F1 in less than 10 days away.

That's nothing... I left the rental car with one member of our team last week to return on Sunday. He neglected to fill the GMC Yukon up with gas and returned it to the airport in DC with 1/4 tank. The charge was $194 for gas :icon14: :shakes head:

It's coming out of his check...

If I did the math correctly, that's roughly $4.90/gallon. We aren't too far behind. It's about 3.85 to 4.15 for premium here. .73 cents/gallon in taxes. And we have a ton of refineries in socal...

Rookie move! Lol. You guys get shafted by rental car companies, we get shafted by our crroks.. er, politicians.

StevenSlice 10-09-2018 01:29 PM

Meanwhile its only 3.64 for premium for me in the land of nowhere in central cali..

Am I missing why you linked something that hasn’t had a response in five years?
