Morning folks! Saw a pretty bad head on collision yesterday. Truck was making a left turn into a street. I was just behind and to his right. As he made his turn, an SUV came out of nowhere and slammed into him. There was another truck on that street waiting to make a right turn and I think that SUV was impatient and tried to go around him to make a right turn. Truck that was going left had its front end completely messed up, his tool box in the bed broke open and scattered tools everywhere, the SUV had a roof rack that sheered off from the impact.
Stupid people! Stay safe out there!

Not yet and seems to be charging and holding charge. Can not risk it as i get off work from clinic at 11p and w flu season about to start could be 1-2am in a not so friendly neighborhood. Dont want to have this issue at those times. Will have it tested and replaced since do not know how old it is from previous owner.

I was able to warranty it. The 1st one was defective and replaced 6 months after I bought it. I found the receipt and discovered the replacement was 34 months into a 36 month warranty. So they gave me a new one and told me to check my alternator  :icon17: :driving:

Cranked over 1st try :happydance:

Of course I barely got the engine oil warmed up before SES and TCS lights came on and the idle started constantly surging and dipping between 1500-2000 RPMs. Burned off a good bit of moisture; unfortunately I didn't have a chance to change the oil. Gonna put the Ecutek cable on it and check codes and reset all the various parameters since the battery died. Thankfully I can now reset them with a menu selection instead of having to do the manual pedal operation timing sequence :D

Headed out soon for a 9 hole scramble at Star Ranch this afternoon

Picked these up today for only $100. :happydance:

Minus one bucket with grit guard and glass cleaner.

Only wanted the foam cannon with the snub nose, interior cleaner and ultra foam shampoo. Will either give away or sell the other products.

Un-sure how fast you cruise; but instead of 2500/75mph...you're gonna be around 29-2950@75 :driving:

Doesn't sound too bad.

BoneZ 10-14-2018 07:56 PM

I wonder how much more epic the launch would be. I know when I went from 3.23 open to 3.73 lsd in the 'maro, it was exciting.

Rusty 10-14-2018 08:19 PM

Made it home. All safe and sound. Traffic on 95 around DC is a nightmare. :shakes head: Bumper to bumper on a Sunday. :shakes head: When we left OBX. The temp was 55F. Got home and the temp was 50F. The temp inside the house was 61F. Had to turn the furnace on to warm up the house. :shakes head:

Family: "Your photos are amazing, can you do so and so session for me?"

Me: "Sure, get the details to me and let's figure it out."

Family: Posts photos of session requested done by someone else.

:mad::mad::mad:

And then they have the nerve to ask why I'm not doing it full time instead of my actual job.

I just need to hit something. But it's seriously disheartening to see that ****. My go to price is $40 a session but apparently that's too much.

Not really. At least an hour away. About 60 miles. I could get almost half way to Austin in about the same amount of time.

Holy damn!
Only $40?

That’s a hell of a price. You’re family should keep you on retainer.

Am I the first one up?

Think I'm being punished at work for taking last week off. My schedule for this week is Monday - 6am to 2pm. Tuesday - off. Wednesday 11:30am to 8pm. Thursday - off. Friday - 11:30am to 8pm. :shakes head: Normally it's 10am to 3pm.
