my PSS rears lasted about 12k miles and were pure cord on the inside lol

BoneZ 09-11-2018 10:07 AM

Sorry... messed up my math. I got almost 36k.

BoneZ 09-11-2018 10:08 AM

Only got 21k on the Coopers last time.

BoneZ 09-11-2018 10:10 AM

Most of my driving is highway, so I'm sure that has something to do with my "high mileage" yields.

Wish I had the opportunity for sure. These are the AS3+ PS too, so they are rated higher in treadwear.

ooooooo i ran out super sports in 12k miles and also wasnt a fan. rolled sidewalls on the dragon then switched to wider RE-11's and never went back. sadly they discontinued the RE-11

Im halfway there with my Bridgstone PPS04s. Still plenty of tread left.

JLarson 09-11-2018 10:55 AM

Pilot 4S for me, so far so good. Decent in rain, which is useful right now since I'm getting plenty of it.

i was looking at those.

think for spring on the GT-R im going with either R888R or Pilot Sport Cup 2

either choice will be in 285/35/20 & 325/30/20

StevenSlice 09-11-2018 11:00 AM

Federal RS-RRS for me as of right now. Theyre noisy as **** but theyre pretty quick tires... I totally havent burned through half of them within 1000 miles though... Totally not :D

Why did you eat ice cream? You know that chit rips you a new azz hole every time.

Rusty 09-11-2018 11:22 AM

With the PSS. I get about 15,000 front and 10,000 rear. Waiting to see what I get out of the PS4S on the front now.

Hotrodz 09-11-2018 11:28 AM

I corded my r888 at the dragon. They probably have 5 or 6 track days and 1k road miles. I am also running about -3.0 front camber lol.

this makes me think the sport cup 2's may be the better choice for the gtr

The r888r are supposed to wear better than the old r888. I think you can't go wrong with either tire. I would make the decision based on price. Let's face it, you will buying another set in a year if you drive it as hard as your Z. Try one this year and the other next year.

this is true lol

think the cup 2's are like $200 cheaper a set so not a big deal either way.

The RS-RRs has basically 3 track days worth of time from ACS.. about 700 road miles on -3.0 camber. I think wear life is similar to the R888 based off that maybe? But thats saying something seeing how much faster the R888 is

eastwest2300 09-11-2018 12:13 PM

Side note. My Mishimoto sponsorship application went through. So im happy about that. Officially makes 6 sponsors as of today.

Pintsize725 09-11-2018 12:37 PM

First day of kiddo Fall photos is done. Now I'm sitting at work covered in sweat because it's so humid outside.

I am trying to decide what tire to replace my r888 with. The reviews on r888r are all over the place, re71 are really good for one track weekend and the new kid on the block is the Advan A052. They are getting lots great reviews and are supposed to be faster than re71 in a 200 tw tire. The price is the killer as they are as expensive as nt01.

StevenSlice 09-11-2018 12:55 PM

Lol im always looking for more sponsors. Mostly in the consumables area now (Oil, filters, gas, ect)

I have been told that the AO52s do not deserve to be 200TW. Theyre stupid fast. For any kind of series that has a TW limit, theyre just OP.

Although if its for just whatever track, im not too sure. Since the wear life on them i dont have any info on

they do make the RE-71's in stock GTR sizes. i actually thought about going that route but it's a 2 ton big bitch and those would just melt lol

It's raining off and on here, so it's that swampy type of humid.

Did they require handing over your man card with that baby salad?

That's been all summer here. You can cut the humidity with a knife at 8-12pm here. It has been a hot one.
